Special Magistrate Harold S. Her alternative source of power must be approved by the city, Eskin said. As previously reported in Off The Grid News, Speronis has been fighting the city of Cape Coral since November when a code enforcement officer tried to evict her from her home for living without utilities. The city contends that Speronis violated the International Property Maintenance Code by relying on rain water instead of the city water system and solar panels instead of the electric grid. She must hook up to the water system, although officials acknowledge she does not have to use it. Speronis told Off The Grid News in February she hopes to win her case and set a precedent for others in her situation. Hear our earlier interview with Robin Speronis here. Magistrate Admits Code is Unreasonable Eskin spent several hours reviewing the case and admitted that the code might be obsolete, the local Press-News newspaper reported.

Most homeowners tend to neglect the sewage system as it’s not one of the most interesting components of their homes. This is ill-advised as you would most likely be in a situation wherein you will need professional Monterey sewage clean up.
For example, sewage backups will lead to contamination of soil and water. Sewage is hazardous as it carries a lot of pathogens that can cause serious illness and diseases to your family members and pets. The problem only multiplies if sewage water is exposed to air. Some harmful pathogens are able to spread diseases through the air. Thankfully, you can prevent all these with a professional Monterey sewage cleanup service.
Where and when can I fish in the ocean without a fishing license? Anyone 16 years and older must have a fishing license to take any kind of fish, mollusk, invertebrate or crustacean in California, except for persons angling from a public pier for non-commercial purposes in ocean or bay waters. A public pier is defined in the sport fishing regulations as a publicly owned man-made structure that has the following characteristics: Additionally, publicly owned jetties or breakwaters that are connected to land, as described above, that have free unrestricted access for the general public and whose purpose it is to form the most seaward protective boundary of an ocean harbor are public piers.
Jetties, breakwaters, promenades, sea walls, moles, docks, linings, barriers and other structures that are not the most seaward protective boundary of an ocean harbor, are not public piers. Even though a license is not required on a public pier, all other regulations including minimum size, bag limits and seasons apply while fishing from a public pier. Additionally, only two rods and lines, handlines, or nets, traps, or other appliances used to take crabs may be used per person on a public pier CCR Title 14, Section If you are in doubt about whether or not a license is needed to fish a particular location, the best way to avoid a potential citation is to purchase a license or find another spot to fish where you are sure that a license is not required.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife offers two ” Free Fishing Days ” per year to encourage new and lapsed anglers to participate in this great outdoor tradition.

To start with, they close the gates at 6PM so even if you have a reservation, you can’t get in. They didn’t tell me that in advance. Next, a huge undulation at the only entrance scraped the bottom of my motorhome and there were multiple gashes as deep as 2 inches from others so you will likely have an issue. OK, so I decided to take my bike to dinner to avoid the scraping but the gate opens automatically with the weight of a vehicle, not a bike ad no key pad on the inside of the gate.
I was stuck for the night inside the park. All the sites are not only not level. They are undulated so I was never able to fully level my motorhome which has no stabilizers.
The owner did most of his own maintenance and has kept a detailed log. Anytime he had to replace a part. He always made sure to use marine grade products. Spacious deck with tons of seating and an aft table.
We were the only tent there but there were lots of RV’s. Campground is very quiet and close to Sequoia National Park. It is in a nice location and staff is friendly. IntoTheWild87 – April We loved this spot! Our site was right on the river, quiet at night, nice staff and convenient location to the park esp since the tour company we booked picked us up and dropped us off. Sequoia Sightseeing Tours We had only stayed at one other RV park which was like being in a giant parking lot, but this felt like camping should be.
The sites are a bit close together and some spots don’t have much shade so be prepared. Also, there really isn’t store on site, so if you need provisions it is easy to stop first on your way into town- it is 2. Dog friendly but required to be on leash.
