Later, Bruce accompanied his parents into the city to see a new monorail system they built that just opened up for the public. Throughout the ride, his parents explained that Gotham was suffering from an economic downturn and enduring deeper into very hard times. While watching a performance of Mefistofele at the Gotham Opera House nearby with both his parents, Bruce got frightened by a scene featuring a bat-like monster which reminded him of the bats that attacked him in the well and asked to leave.

In a later episode, these heroes were full-fledged guest stars, but now Batman and Robin believed them to be criminals, as they pretended to be in their own series. The final “window cameo” was by Cyril Lord, a well-known British floorcoverings distributor of the time, who got a moment in the Bat-spotlight using his nickname of “Carpet King” , after selling TV producer Howie Horwitz a fine Persian rug, and did so at a discount in exchange for his time onscreen.

Meanwhile, in nearly every form of Batman storytelling, Bruce is exceptionally careful with his secret identity. But it works for The Enemy Within, as it serves to close in the walls surrounding both Bruce and Batman, putting pressure on The Dark Knight on all sides.
It makes me want to see Telltale really flip the biggest Bat-tradition on its head, showing an Iron Man-esque press conference where Batman reveals his secret to everyone in this particularly grim, violent version of Gotham City. Also, is it just me, or does Selina look like a dead ringer for Uma Thurman here?

What the fuck were you thinking spoiling Batman 50 like that You just fucked over a ton of LCS, not to mention your writer — ToddHodd ToddHoddd July 2, If you’re that compelled not to read it, don’t do your local comic shop dirty like that by not going in Wednesday. Go pick up other titles, try something new. Don’t let your LCS suffer.
There’s a lot of great titles out there. But honestly, give Batman 50 a chance first. Not only that, you put my LCS in a bind promoting it. If youre going to treat readers like that, I will not support your books anymore. You just lost a fan. Batman was getting married! You don’t need to promote it by spoiling the rest of the story. It’s maddening from a marketing standpoint.
